🌟 Ideal Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience reading tarot or astrology professionally
  • Now hiring astrologers and tarot card readers, preferable if you can do both
  • Comfortable reading in loud, busy, or dynamic environments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to deliver concise, uplifting readings (5-10 mins per guest)
  • Must be punctual, professional, and adaptable on-site
  • Personal aesthetic aligns with elevated, mystical, and on-brand style
  • Weekend and evening availability is required with reliable transportation
  • Based in or willing to travel within Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, and surrounding areas

Q: Will I need to bring my own setup?
A: Events will have a table and chairs provided. You just bring yourself, your tools (tarot cards, astrology charting device), table decor, and your magic.

Q: Are these private client sessions?
A: No - this role is for event-based work only. You’ll be representing Tinsley Tarot at curated experiences like wellness retreats, brand launches, corporate gatherings, and private parties.

Q: How long are the readings at events?
A: Readings typically range from 5 to 10 minutes per guest, depending on the format and flow of the event. You’ll need to be confident, clear, and connected - even in a time crunch. Event length can span from two hours to six hours.

Q: Is this a freelance opportunity?
A: Yes! This is an independent contractor role, booked per event. We work hard to match you with gigs that align with your style and strengths. Part time work as a tarot card reader, magician, or astrologer.
